About The Position
This role is for a Maintenance Trades Helper Painter Trainee. The position involves learning and applying industrial painting techniques, including the use of enamels, epoxy, and urethane paint systems. Responsibilities include prepping parts for paint, understanding technical data sheets for paint mixing and application, and using various tools for measurement and surface preparation.
Requirements
- Ability to work independently and pay attention to details.
- Ability to read basic blueprints.
- Experience in using industrial paints such as enamels, epoxy and urethane paint systems.
- High School diploma or GED.
- US Citizenship Required.
Nice To Haves
- Technical or Vocational Training preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Spray paint using HVLP spray guns.
- Proper use and application of industrial paints such as enamels, epoxy, and urethane paint systems.
- Read and understand Tech Data Sheets for mixing and applying different paint systems.
- Proper techniques of prepping parts for paint using sanders and on occasion sand blasting.
- Use of small hand tools such as dial calipers, tape measures and scales.
