Fabricates, modifies or repairs die sets, tooling, fixtures and miscellaneous tooling. This role involves machining parts from prints and models, verifying dimensions, alignments, and clearances using measuring instruments, and setting up and operating various machining equipment. The individual will fit and assemble parts to create or repair tooling, dies, jigs, gauges, and tools, and will be responsible for troubleshooting punch press tooling and presses up to 20 tons. Additionally, the role requires smoothing and polishing surfaces and validating completed tools to ensure parts meet specifications. Additional responsibilities may be assigned to achieve business objectives.
