About The Position

Super Products LLC is currently accepting applications for our Maintenance Technician position at our location in Mukwonago, WI. The Maintenance Technican installs, maintains and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures for the manufacturing facilities. Super Products LLC, an Alamo Group Company, is a growing manufacturing company with a new headquarters in Mukwonago, WI and nationwide rental store facilities. Under general supervision, installs, maintains and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures for the manufacturing facilities. Follows blueprints, manuals and schematic drawings in the performance of these duties. Perform general diagnosis and troubleshooting for equipment to maintain production levels throughout the facilities.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of machines, tools, including their design, uses, repair and maintenance
  • Experience with CMMS and knowledge of preventive and routine maintenance of equipment.
  • Knowledge of basic conveyor system repair (blast / paint booth systems)
  • Basic vehicle maintenance and forklift operation.
  • Basic understanding of HVAC.
  • Knowledge of electrical and mechanical machine repair.
  • Able to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, operator’s manuals, and assembly instructions.
  • Above average mechanical aptitude.
  • Hands-on attitude and ability.
  • The ability to meet deadlines.
  • Able to wear personal protective equipment.
  • Able to work overtime and/or include weekends as production schedules dictate.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to maintain a clean driving history.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Three or more years of manufacturing maintenance experience.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Formal maintenance training or related technical education is strongly desired.

Responsibilities

  • Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment using electrical and electronic test equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment following an established schedule.
  • Perform daily, weekly, monthly and annual inspections of machinery and equipment as scheduled.
  • Install, diagnose and troubleshoot equipment using detailed failure analysis to maintain production levels throughout the facilities.
  • Identify defective machines and equipment and install new or repaired parts, following specification and blueprints, using precision measuring instruments and hand tools.
  • Strict adherence with all established safety procedures and wear all required PPE, without fail.
