CH. Thompson is currently seeking a motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team! As a Maintenance Technician, you will be a vital part of our team, ensuring the smooth operation of our facility through various maintenance tasks. Requirements
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to push up to 75 pounds, bend, kneel, and climb as needed.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of electrical systems and plumbing.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with PVC, CPVC, and black steel pipe is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Electrical Maintenance: Perform all minor & major electrical maintenance tasks using appropriate tools. Work with systems ranging from 110v single-phase to 480-volt 3-phase.
- Plumbing Maintenance: Conduct minor & major plumbing repairs such as fixing leaks, unclogging drains, trenching, and replacing hoses.
- Industrial Machinery: Repair, install, and adjust industrial machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair defective equipment promptly and efficiently.
- Work Orders: Swiftly respond to work order requests, ensuring minimal downtime.
- General Maintenance: Perform a variety of maintenance tasks to support the overall function and safety of our facility.
