We are seeking a skilled and dependable Facilities Maintenance Technician to help keep Jefferson County Public Library (JCPL) buildings and facilities running smoothly. From repairing equipment to assisting with preventative maintenance, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our spaces are safe, functional, and welcoming for everyone who uses them. This position focuses on commercial/institutional building maintenance, including preventative maintenance, HVAC systems, work orders, and repairs to library building systems and equipment. Experience with facilities maintenance in government, municipal, or similar occupied buildings is preferred. This position requires operating company vehicles; applicants must have a valid driver's license at time of hire and a valid Colorado driver’s license within 90 days of employment. A motor vehicle records check will be completed during the pre-employment background screening.
