About The Position

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for completing inspections, conducting quality preventative maintenance (PMs) on various equipment, and performing minor to moderate repair/breakdown maintenance. Technicians will primarily be involved in forklift, battery, and building maintenance. Basic maintenance experience is desired, and additional facility-specific training will be provided. Opportunities for growth within the department are available for technicians who demonstrate an aptitude for more advanced maintenance levels. Highly skilled candidates may be considered for higher starting levels based on relevant experience.

  • Willingness to be trained on facility specific equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Complete inspections.
  • Conduct quality preventative maintenance (PMs) on various equipment.
  • Perform minor to moderate repair/breakdown maintenance.
  • Involved in forklift, battery, and building maintenance.
  • Perform basic repairs to most components or systems within the building.
  • Troubleshoot and repair common problems with lithium-ion battery systems.
  • Repair or replace cables, connectors, & tips for battery systems.
  • Perform PMs on forklift equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair problems with electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems on various types of forklift equipment.
