About The Position

This position provides general building, grounds, and equipment maintenance within the facility. The shift is Sunday–Thursday, 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM, with overtime as required. Requirements

  • Experience in maintenance of fabrication and manufacturing equipment.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
  • Basis computer and ERP knowledge for looking up SRO’s, P.O. requests, and closing maintenance ticket SRO’s.
  • Must possess effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and employees.
  • Ability to apply commonsense and understanding to carry out detailed and written oral instructions.
  • Must perform all duties in conjunction with UAI and ISO requirements.
  • Ability to read, comprehend and implement lock-out tag-out procedures is required.
  • Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move 100 pounds with an assist.

Nice To Haves

  • Electro-Mechanical degree preferred or a strong technical background in electrical, hydraulics, PLC’s, pneumatics, HVAC preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform basic troubleshooting and repair of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
  • Follow instructions on maintenance tickets to perform PMs in accordance with due date.
  • Follow safe manufacturing and material handling practices.
  • Understand and adhere to UAI 5S manufacturing practices.
  • Understand and adhere to UAI employee handbook policies.
  • Record time accurately including “time and attendance” and “labor reporting” using the data collection system.
  • Perform general building and grounds maintenance.
  • Mastered use of all required equipment and hand devices.
  • Inspect and clean all equipment.
  • Perform all preventative maintenance on all equipment.
  • Other duties as assigned.
