About The Position

Join our award-winning team as a Maintenance Technician at the Courtyard by Marriott in Sandy. This part-time position (approximately 16 hours per week) focuses on maintaining guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas in good repair. Responsibilities include tasks related to carpentry, plumbing, electrical, air conditioning, painting, wall covering, and landscaping. The role also involves cleaning and maintaining the spa area, hotel vehicles, and transporting guests as needed. Requirements

Basic tools and maintenance experience is required.
Must be 21+, have a valid driver license and good driving record.
Ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, wall covering, and landscaping principles and procedures.
Punctuality and reliable work attendance.
All colleagues must maintain a neat, and well-groomed appearance (specific standards will be provided).

Responsibilities

Maintain guest rooms, public spaces, and back of the hotel areas in good repair by performing various tasks related to carpentry, plumbing, electrical, air conditioning, painting, wall covering and landscaping.
Clean and maintain the spa area.
Maintain the hotel vehicles; transport guests as needed.
Conduct maintenance and safety inspections as needed and ensure timely follow-up to required improvements.
