About The Position

The SpringHill Suites by Marriott Lehi is seeking a Maintenance Tech to support hotel upkeep and guest experience. The role performs routine maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house spaces, and interior and exterior areas. The Maintenance Tech works closely with the Maintenance Manager and other team members to respond to issues promptly and maintain hotel systems and a safe, welcoming environment. Responsibilities also include regular property inspections, support for pool and spa maintenance, preventive maintenance and safety tasks, keeping maintenance areas and tools clean, monitoring supplies and equipment, and providing shuttle transportation support when required. The position requires consistent attendance and adherence to company and brand standards, OSHA practices, and local codes. Duties may evolve based on organizational needs.

Requirements

General understanding of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
Ability to learn and advance technical skills with supervision.
Familiarity with the safe use of hand tools, power equipment, and cleaning chemicals.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
Clear and courteous communication skills.
Time management and ability to prioritize multiple maintenance tasks.
Reliability, initiative, and pride in work.
Valid driver's license required for shuttle transportation support.
Consistent attendance and adherence to Resolute Road Hospitality standards.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Previous maintenance or hospitality experience preferred.
Laundry equipment experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Complete assigned maintenance and repair tasks throughout the hotel's interior and exterior areas.
Walk the property regularly to inspect cleanliness, condition, and safety.
Maintain working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and shuttle vehicle systems.
Respond professionally and efficiently to guest service requests and reported issues.
Support pool and spa maintenance, including chemical testing and accurate logbook upkeep.
Assist with inspections, preventive maintenance routines, and safety compliance tasks.
Maintain clean and safe maintenance spaces and tools; monitor inventory of supplies and equipment.
Report and escalate equipment failures, unsafe conditions, or guest-related concerns.
Perform cleaning and upkeep in public areas, including hallways, stairwells, elevators, and service corridors.
Support shuttle transportation needs when required.
Follow company and brand standards, OSHA safety practices, and local codes.
Perform other duties as assigned.
