Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED (required)
  • 3+ years related experience in facility and/or machine maintenance
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English (required)
  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues and communicate solutions effectively
  • Ability to setup and operate various machines, including manual mill and lathe, drill press, grinding machine, and variety of hand tools
  • Ability to review and interpret technical prints, electrical and plumbing schematics, etc
  • Computer literate

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance (routine and emergency) on company machines, including but not limited to injection molding machines, extrusion and corrugation machines, material dryers, chiller system, sonic welders
  • Perform maintenance (routine and emergency) on other company assets, including but not limited to assembly and test fixturing, automated assembly lines
  • Assist Engineering in designing and producing production fixturing
  • Assist toolroom in troubleshooting and repairing injection molds and manual toolroom equipment
  • Perform maintenance throughout the facility, including plumbing, light fixture repair/replacement, HVAC repair, and other duties as necessary
  • Coordinate w/ third party companies for facility and equipment repairs as necessary
  • Maintain maintenance records for facility
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Other assignments as directed by immediate supervisor or their designee
