About The Position

Sierra is seeking a Maintenance Technician for their B shift, working Friday-Sunday from 6:00 am to 6:30 pm. This role requires special skills and/or schooling with technical training in HVAC, Electrical, Mechanical, Carpentry, Metalworking, Plumbing, Conveyors, and Electric forklifts. Qualified candidates must possess skills in a minimum of two of these areas, be able to read and understand schematics, and have troubleshooting skills. The pay is determined by specific skills, training, and experience.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license
Self-starter
Able to work with little supervision or unsupervised at times
Knowledgeable in small repairs and advance technical skills
Carpentry skills
Must be flexible and be able to multi-task as projects are frequently interrupted due to a priority basis
Prior experience in the maintenance field mandatory
Physically capable of lifting up to 60 pounds
Capable of understanding what needs to be done and doing it quickly
Must be clean, organized and tidy
Troubleshooting and problem solving
Fabricate materials and build items
Must be mechanically inclined
Able to use a multi meter to check circuits
Capable of handling on call issues and respond to them
