Requirements

  • 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience supporting manufacturing, production, or distribution equipment.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience maintaining conveyor systems and automated production equipment.
  • Working knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, sensors, and industrial control systems.
  • Experience performing preventive maintenance and equipment repairs.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
  • Experience utilizing a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Valid Massachusetts driver's license.
  • Ability to become forklift certified.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to work overtime as business needs require.
  • Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience operating forklifts and scissor lifts.
  • Knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS).
  • Experience supporting boilers, compressors, generators, and other facility infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and perform changeovers on industrial equipment, including: Packers, Labelers, Wrappers, Beverage filling equipment, Palletizers, Coders, Conveyors, Other automated production machinery.
  • Rebuild and maintain motors, gearboxes, pumps, valves, and pneumatic systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical and automation issues involving: PLCs, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), Photo eyes, Limit switches, Machine fault codes.
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and uptime.
  • Support facility systems, including compressors, boilers, generators, cooling towers, and water treatment equipment.
  • Complete maintenance documentation and work orders through CMMS software.
  • Conduct routine facility inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Collaborate with production teams and external vendors to resolve equipment issues.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment.
  • Follow all safety procedures, including PPE requirements, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and risk management protocols.
