Candlewood Suites - Shelbyville is seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team in Shelbyville, KY. You will perform routine maintenance tasks, troubleshoot issues, and handle repairs efficiently to support the smooth operation of the hotel.

Requirements

• Previous experience in maintenance or a related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building repairs.
• Basic understanding of safety practices and regulations within a hospitality environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems efficiently.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders from management and staff.
• Diagnose problems, perform repairs, and ensure timely completion of work.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory of supplies necessary for maintenance tasks.
