About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to support daily operations by troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining facility equipment and systems. This role is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, responding to equipment breakdowns, and ensuring machinery and building systems remain operational to support production goals. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities, be comfortable working independently, and possess the flexibility to assist across multiple departments as needed.

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of power tool repair
  • Intermediate knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Intermediate understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and electrical schematics
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work across multiple departments and company levels
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Training or education in a relevant technical field
  • Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience or equivalent technical schooling
  • Strong documentation and recordkeeping skills required
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
  • Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing or industrial environment

Responsibilities

  • Perform repairs and installations on electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems with support from the Mechanical Engineer as needed
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment failures to minimize downtime
  • Repair fixtures and equipment made from various materials
  • Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand and power tools
  • Perform and document preventive maintenance (PM) activities on facility and production equipment
  • Inspect mobile equipment and complete required maintenance to ensure proper functionality
  • Respond to emergency maintenance situations to support continuous production operations
  • Read and interpret facility blueprints, mechanical drawings, and electrical schematics
  • Coordinate and oversee work performed by outside contractors
  • Source parts, supplies, tooling, and equipment from vendors and catalogs
  • Maintain inventory levels of maintenance supplies, tooling, and equipment
  • Work independently to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and records
  • Work overtime and flexible hours as needed
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
