About The Position

Doncasters has exciting opportunities for Maintenance Technicians to join their team based in Long Beach, CA. This role involves maintaining all production equipment through hands-on performance, including troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electro-mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. The technician will collaborate with multiple departments to ensure machinery operates at full capacity. Doncasters is a specialist manufacturer of complex precision cast components for aerospace engines and industrial gas turbines, serving leading OEM programs and employing over 3,000 people globally across 14 manufacturing facilities.

Requirements

• Previous experience maintaining and repairing industrial equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Problem-solving skills to correctly diagnose problems.
• Communication skills to convey ideas and solutions.
• Organizational skills to prioritize efficiently.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft suite tools such as Excel, Word, etc.
• 3 years previous experience in a similar role.
• Experience of working in a manufacturing organization.

Nice To Haves

• Good working knowledge of PLC (Programmable Logic Control), aiding in finding faults and diagnosing problems.
• Completed an Advanced Apprenticeship or HNC equivalent in Electrical engineering with a good PLC knowledge in programming, fault finding and diagnosis.

Responsibilities
