About The Position

Pregis is seeking a Maintenance Technician to be responsible for maintaining the proper functioning of machinery and mechanical equipment. This role involves completing both planned and unplanned maintenance on production, processing equipment, and utility systems. The technician will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all OSHA and facility-specific protocols, including LOTO and Arc Flash procedures. Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent required
Minimum 2 years of experience, manufacturing preferred.
Ability to take coaching well and communicates respectfully with others.

Knowledgeable of safety requirements and guidelines in manufacturing/warehouse environment

Nice To Haves

Troubleshooting on Programmable Logic Control (PLC) and AC/DC drive systems.
Experience with LOTO and Arc Flash procedures.

Responsibilities

Perform the proper function of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing maintenance requirements (both planned and unplanned) on production, processing equipment, and utility systems.
Successfully perform troubleshooting on Programmable Logic Control (PLC) and AC/DC drive systems.
On call for emergency repairs in breakdown situations as necessary.
Accurately read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, electrical schematics, service manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
Perform preventative maintenance (i.e., conducting computerized preventative maintenance check-ups or reading SPC charts and data) as needed.
Ensure proper function of the line manufacturing support systems (line/lube delivery, resin delivery, process systems, operational support).
Accurately complete and document work orders promptly to maintain high-quality standards.
Maintain communication with other departments, management, and employees; notifying them of problems and/or concerns that may restrict production efficiency.
Complete all paperwork in a clear, legible, and accurate format, including all required information and documentation following Standard Operating Procedures.
Assist in maintaining parts and supplies inventory by checking parts out of inventory and assigning them to the proper work order, report low supply levels to Supervisor.
Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area, including maintenance shop.
Identify Critical Control Points (CCP).
Abide by all safety standards and protocols set forth by OSHA and Pregis.
Performs related duties as assigned.
Other responsibilities as directed or required.
