About The Position

Enterhealth is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to help maintain its residential treatment campus. This hands-on, on-site role supports a safe, well-maintained environment for patient care and recovery. The position works Thursday through Monday and includes routine building repairs, preventive maintenance, inspections, equipment upkeep, recordkeeping, and related facility and grounds support. The employee works respectfully around patients and staff and follows facility safety and confidentiality procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• General building maintenance skills.
• Safe use of hand and power tools.
• Ability to follow instructions, manage assigned priorities, and complete work reliably.
• Good communication, basic computer skills, and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

• Related maintenance experience or trade training.
• Healthcare, residential facility, or hospitality maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Handle routine building repairs, work orders, and preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot general maintenance issues involving doors, fixtures, plumbing, HVAC, and other building equipment within the employee’s training.
• Inspect buildings and grounds, address hazards, and promptly report repair needs.
• Help maintain kitchen and laundry equipment, emergency lighting, generators, and other assigned systems.
• Keep accurate work records and communicate job status, supply needs, and delays to the supervisor.
• Keep tools, chemicals, supplies, and work areas organized and secure.
• Support grounds upkeep and facility setup as needed.
• Work respectfully around patients and staff and follow facility safety and confidentiality procedures.
