Requirements

  • Associates Degree in Mechatronics or related field needed.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • 2 + years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone
  • Must be 18 years of age or older

Responsibilities

  • Installation, service and repair of mechanical equipment.
  • Assist in training of entry level team members.
  • Able to carry out assignments with minimum supervision.
  • Understand and follow all safety procedures.
  • Use electrical test equipment to test electrical circuits and equipment.
  • Size and install conduit, wires, breakers, fuses, starters, motors and other electrical equipment in accordance with the National Electric Code.
  • Troubleshoot AC and DC motors and motor drives.
  • Understand PLC operations, troubleshooting and ladder logic diagrams.
  • Perform equipment PMs and complete work order documentation using CMMS.
  • Read & interpret documentation such as electrical schematics, manuals and technical bulletins.
  • Operate a forklift, scissor lift and JLG.
  • Plan and organize individual work.
  • Perform work in a timely manner.
  • Maintain good housekeeping throughout plant and shop.
  • Work overtime on short notice and anytime needed.
  • Occasional operation of a company truck/vehicle, valid driver’s license required.
