About The Position

This position reports to the Facility & Maintenance Manager and is solely accountable for the fulfillment of all assigned duties. The Maintenance Technician performs detailed phases of tool room/machinist/maintenance work and duties associated with all areas of production due to maintenance issues.

Requirements

• Ability to gain knowledge and perform in all areas of production.
• Experience in MIG welding.
• Ability to obtain JOST International Fork Truck Certification.
• Must be able to work a flexible work schedule.
• Ability to gain knowledge of company products.
• Comply with quality, environmental, safety, and JOST company policies and procedures.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of basic tool room skills.

Responsibilities

• Welding (MIG) due to maintenance issues.
• Repair and maintain weld fixtures.
• Operation of all tool room machinery.
• Building prototype products and test units.
• Daily and monthly maintenance, including monthly fire extinguisher checks, monthly housekeeping audits, and maintaining maintenance records.
• Manage the preventative maintenance program, including performing the PM schedule as assigned on the maintenance calendar, completing all documentation, and filing documents in the maintenance folders.
• Perform any additional duties that may be assigned or are logically inherent to this position.
