About The Position

ITU AbsorbTech is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team in New Berlin, WI. In this role, you will repair and maintain industrial laundry machinery, working with electrical systems, boilers, pumps, compressors, hydraulics, and other production machines and equipment. You will troubleshoot mechanical devices, working from blueprints, electrical schematics, operational manuals, and manufacturer's specifications. General maintenance operations will also be part of your responsibilities. A valid driver's license and the ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check are required for this position. The pay is $28-$30 an hour, based on experience. The 2nd Shift Schedule is 1:30pm-9:30pm, Monday-Friday, with occasional weekends as needed.

Requirements

Associate’s degree (or current enrollment in a technical school) in Facilities Maintenance (or similar) and 1-3 years’ related experience in maintenance or mechanical repair is required; or equivalent in related experience.
Incumbent must be detail-oriented, dependable, and have a positive attitude.
A valid driver's license and the ability to successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check are required for this position.
