Maintenance Technician

We're hiring a Maintenance Technician to join our 171-unit apartment community, where you'll play a key role in providing residents with a safe, comfortable place to call home. We're looking for a dependable team player who takes ownership of their work, delivers excellent customer service, and is ready to grow with a company that invests in its people. Every day brings something different from completing service requests and apartment turns to preventative maintenance and emergency repairs.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation
- Ability to live within a 30-minute commute of the community
- EPA/HVAC/CFC Certification required
- At least one year of maintenance experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general building maintenance
- Strong troubleshooting skills with a focus on quality workmanship
- Positive attitude, dependable work ethic, and commitment to outstanding resident service
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, appliances, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance issues
- Complete resident service requests accurately and efficiently
- Prepare apartments for new residents through quality unit turns
- Maintain the interior and exterior of the community to company standards
- Communicate professionally with residents and teammates regarding maintenance updates
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming community environment
- Participate in the rotating on-call schedule and respond to emergency maintenance needs when required
