About The Position

Cherry Hills Country Club, founded in 1922, is a family-friendly club with over 690 members. Facilities include a renowned championship golf course, a full-service golf shop, driving range, practice facilities, halfway house, and Par 3 course; eight outdoor tennis courts incorporating two pickleball courts, tennis shop, a family pool complex with café, junior Olympic size swimming pool and an active children’s club. This role is responsible for the installation and/or repair of various items, systems, and components to ensure they are available and in safe working condition. This includes tasks such as repairing broken windows, roofs, building structures, floors, lighting systems, HVAC systems and components, electrical systems, plumbing/sewer systems, metal fabrication, painting, drywall patching, and restaurant equipment repair and maintenance. The technician will perform daily walk-throughs to inspect and address any needed repairs or maintenance, such as touch-up painting, replacing light bulbs, checking mechanical equipment, and inspecting for safety hazards. The position also assists in developing and executing standard operating procedures for the maintenance department and requires availability for on-call, after-hours service calls, including weekends.

Requirements

  • Skills required to perform multiple, technical and non-technical tasks with a need to occasionally upgrade skills in order to meet changing job conditions.

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years of related work experience is preferred.
  • High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Installation and/or repair of various items, systems and/or components as may be required (e.g. Includes but not limited to, broken windows, roofs, building structures, floors, lighting systems, HVAC systems and components, electrical systems, plumbing/sewer systems, metal fabrication, painting, dry wall patch, restaurant equipment repair and maintenance.) for the purpose of ensuring that items are available and in safe working condition.
  • Perform a detailed daily walk-thru to inspect, correct or perform any daily repairs and/or maintenance needed. (e.g. touch up painting, light bulbs, mechanical equipment check, and inspection of any safety hazards)
  • Assists in the development and execution of standard operating procedures for the maintenance department.
  • Available to work on call, receive and perform after hours service calls when needed.
  • Weekends are required for this position.
