About The Position

The Solstice is hiring a Maintenance Technician for its 156-unit property in Lake St. Louis, MO. This role is key in providing an outstanding living experience for residents by managing general upkeep, unit turns, and preventative maintenance. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is offered, paid out in two installments at 90 and 180 days.

Requirements

2+ years of general maintenance experience, residential maintenance experience preferred
Make Ready, painting, and sheetrock experience strongly preferred
EPA universal license for HVAC required
CPO license preferred
Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations
Ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment, plumbing systems, electrical systems, all major appliances including washer and dryer
Strong customer service skills
High school diploma or GED
Basic computer proficiency preferred

Responsibilities

Deliver timely, high-quality results for resident work requests and day-to-day community maintenance needs.
Maintain grounds, amenities, and common areas to high standards to ensure a welcoming environment.
Identify and resolve potential safety or upkeep issues to protect the property and residents.
Execute seamless make-readies, repairs, and final checks for new residents.
Provide reliable emergency support on a rotating on-call schedule.
Champion a culture of safety by following all industry procedures.
