About The Position

The Reserve at Moonlight is hiring a Maintenance Technician for our 294-unit property in Gardner, KS. This role is crucial in providing an outstanding living experience for residents by managing general upkeep, unit turnovers, and preventative maintenance. The position offers a $1,000 sign-on bonus, with $500 paid at 90 days and $500 at 180 days.

Requirements

2+ years of general maintenance experience, residential maintenance experience preferred.
EPA universal license for HVAC required.
Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment, plumbing systems, electrical systems, and all major appliances including washer and dryer.
Experience with turnover “make-ready” of apartments.
High school diploma or GED.
Basic computer proficiency preferred.

Nice To Haves

CPO license preferred.

Responsibilities

Deliver timely, high-quality results for resident work requests and day-to-day community maintenance needs.
Maintain grounds, amenities, and common areas to high quality standards, ensuring a welcoming environment.
Identify and resolve potential safety or upkeep issues.
Execute seamless make-readies, repairs, and final checks for new residents.
Provide reliable emergency support on a rotating on-call schedule.
Champion a culture of safety by following all industry procedures.
