About The Position

Off-Shift Maintenance Technicians are responsible for maintaining production and quality by ensuring the operation of machinery and mechanical/electrical equipment. At MacLean Power Systems (MPS), we value integrity, innovation, and a results-driven mindset. We offer a transparent pay structure with earning potential ranging from a base entry rate of $25.49 per hour up to $38.41 per hour, based on an internal skill-level system and evaluation. A shift differential of $1.25 per hour is provided for 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Requirements

Associate’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience in an industrial environment.
Experience with motor control circuits.
Familiarity with high voltages (3-phase).
Ability to work second shift, third shift, and overtime as necessary.
Must be able to walk, handle fine manipulation, and lift/carry up to 50 lbs. infrequently.
Requires the ability to bend, squat, crawl, and climb heights or staircases occasionally.

Nice To Haves

Working knowledge of PLCs.
Experience in high-speed manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance and repair of foundry and machine shop equipment.
Change parts, keep machines in working order, and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
Welding and fabrication skills.
Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Read blueprints and electrical schematics to diagnose issues.
Diagnose complex malfunctions, troubleshoot ladder logic/PLCs, and handle high-voltage/3-phase power.
Utilize the CMMS system for documentation and work through tasks with minimal supervision.
