About The Position

Holy Family Catholic Church, located in Randallstown, MD, is seeking candidates for a part-time Maintenance Technician. This is a 12-month position, working 19 weekly hours. Under general direction of the Business Manager, the part-time Maintenance Technician will oversee the maintenance of the buildings. This includes the primary fields of electrical, heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC), carpentry, plumbing, etc.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent required.
Must possess a valid driver's license with no more than three current points.
Must be able to move furniture, equipment and other materials weighing up to and more than 100lbs. with assistance; to move about within very tight spaces where large and potentially dangerous equipment is stored.
Must be able to operate various types of manual and power tools and automated systems; and to ascend/descend a ladder as needed.

Nice To Haves

Some experience within the identified primary fields is a plus.

Responsibilities

Performs basic and routine maintenance, construction, and repair tasks according to service, quality, and safety standards.
Assist with miscellaneous facility projects, including painting, drywall, and carpentry, installation of fixtures and moving furniture or materials within the facilities.
Maintaining organization in Facilities spaces.
Consistently communicating work progress or any problems to the Business Manager.
Utilizing Personal Protective Equipment and practicing safe work habits, including lock-out/tag-out.
Snow removal and other seasonal tasks, as required by the Business Manager.
