About The Position

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our patients as a Maintenance Technician at Perimeter Behavioral of Missouri - Saint Robert. In this role, the Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring a safe, functional, and comfortable environment of care for adolescents facing behavioral challenges and medically complex physical conditions. Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
At least twenty-one (21) years of age
Experience in a mental health setting (preferably with adolescents), and knowledge of child/adolescent growth and development, and the ability to relate to adolescents with substance abuse or mental health problems.

Nice To Haves

Valid Missouri Driver's License is preferred

Responsibilities

Assist the teacher in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and instructional strategies tailored to each adolescent’s unique needs.
Support students during classrooms activities and lessons, providing guidance and encouragement to foster engagement and learning.
Help maintain a safe and organized classroom environment that promotes positive behavior and emotional regulation among students.
Collaborate with the teacher and staff to monitor student progress and identify areas needing additional support.
Facilitate communication with students, ensuring they understand instructions and feel comfortable expressing their needs and concerns.
Assist in preparing instructional materials and resources necessary for classroom activities and lessons.
