About The Position
The Maintenance Technician maintains the physical functionality of the facility, including guest rooms, public spaces, and heart-of-the-house areas at the Hilton Myrtle Beach Resort. This is a full-time, year-round position on the 3rd shift, including weekends and holidays. Pay is $17 per hour plus a $1.00 night differential.
Responsibilities
- Perform repairs and maintenance tasks in carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, HVAC, and masonry.
- Inspect guestrooms, public spaces, back-of-the-house, and heart-of-the-house areas to identify items that need repair, touch-up, or replacement.
- Repair or replace items such as light bulbs, lamps, switches, outlets, faucets, toilets, hardware, filters, paint, furniture, wall coverings, caulking, and grouting.
- Assist other department team members with the systematic application of the preventive maintenance program.
- Record repairs, report completed repairs, and identify areas needing further attention or rooms that should be placed out of order.
