Maintenance Technician - Machine Repair (3rd Shift)
About The Position
The Maintenance Technician will perform a variety of operational functions related to the production, inspection, and distribution of products and services. This role involves repairing and maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment, including engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines. The technician will also be responsible for electrical controls and instrumentation, adhering to the plant's preventative maintenance program, and performing preventive maintenance and routine service on machines and equipment.
Requirements
- Minimum High School or equivalent.
- Technical Certification in PLC/Electrical Controls, robotics and electrical.
- Minimum 2 years experience.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents relating to the job, function or assignment.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical equations.
- Ability to make decisions when identifying in-process problems.
- Ability to deal with a variety of job assignments.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and service all plant equipment.
- Perform electrical, PLC, and robotic troubleshooting, installation, and repairs.
- Manage all electrical controls and instrumentation.
- Adhere to the plant preventative maintenance program.
- Perform preventive maintenance and routine service on machines and equipment.
- Repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines and equipment.
