About The Position

Habitat America, LLC is seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician for Cascades of Frederick, a senior apartment community in Frederick, Maryland. This is a full-time position with a Monday - Friday schedule from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. The role involves all technical aspects of general apartment maintenance, including assisting with unit turnovers and participating in an after-hours on-call rotation. Requirements

• 2+ years prior apartment maintenance experience.
• Experience with appliance repairs, general carpentry, basic plumbing, basic electrical work, drywall and painting.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Energetic, self-motivated individual who is able to work as a team.
• Must have previous experience with apartment maintenance; appliance troubleshooting, drywall, and painting.
• Must have a pleasant and professional demeanor at all times.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Requires extensive mobility and excellent physical condition.
• Must be able and willing to work weekends and be part of an on-call rotation.

Nice To Haves

• HVAC & CFC certifications are a plus.
• HVAC/CFC Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities
