About The Position

Gross Residential is seeking an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician to support day-to-day preventive maintenance, service requests, unit turnovers, and the general upkeep of residential apartment buildings. The role requires a team-oriented person with strong customer service skills. Full-time maintenance employees who choose to live at the Gross Residential community where they work are eligible for a 50% discount on the rental rate of a suite and one garage space.

Responsibilities

• Participate in an on-call and weekend rotation.
• Communicate effectively with residents and others to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Complete a broad range of preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Respond to work orders in a timely manner.
• Prepare vacant suites for presentation and move-ins.
• Maintain building interiors and exteriors.
• Perform grounds upkeep.
• Install and troubleshoot appliances.
• Install, maintain, and repair plumbing fixtures.
• Perform basic HVAC maintenance.
