Requirements

  • At least 1 year of mechanical experience or related background
  • Basic experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, or electrical troubleshooting
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures (hot and cold environments)
  • Strong attendance, reliability, and time management
  • Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Industrial, manufacturing, or heavy equipment experience
  • Background in recycling, foundry, aggregate, mining, or similar environments
  • Familiarity with preventative maintenance programs

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair motors, conveyors, and production systems
  • Troubleshoot mechanical systems with support from experienced team members
  • Perform preventative maintenance and routine safety inspections
  • Work with hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical systems
  • Use hand tools, shop equipment, and diagnostic tools to complete repairs
  • Inspect and test equipment to ensure safe, reliable operation
  • Collaborate closely with Maintenance and Production teams to reduce downtime
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
