About The Position

Richman Property Services, Inc. is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to join their dynamic team in Clearwater and St. Petersburg, FL. This role involves performing daily repair and upkeep of the property, preparing vacant units for occupancy, managing service requests, and maintaining compliance with relevant standards. The technician will also oversee inventory, assist with preventative maintenance, and collaborate on maintaining the property's appearance. Exceptional customer service and adherence to company policies are expected. The position requires on-call duties and occasional overtime.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED; industry-related courses preferred
  • Minimum of two (2) years of maintenance and general repair experience or Groundskeeper
  • Proficiency in maintenance tasks, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, etc.
  • Must own basic tools as allowed by state laws
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws, including Fair Housing Laws
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
  • Proficient in English for communication and record-keeping purposes

Nice To Haves

  • EPA Section 608 Type I and II or Universal Technician license (RPS may sponsor if right skills/experience)
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily repair and upkeep of the property
  • Prepare vacant units for occupancy within established deadlines
  • Manage service requests and ensure timely completion
  • Maintain compliance with OSHA standards and The Clean Air Act
  • Oversee inventory and care of tools and equipment
  • Complete required tasks such as training, logs, and reports in a timely manner
  • Assist in property preventative maintenance plan
  • Collaborate on maintaining curb appeal and cleanliness of buildings and grounds
  • Uphold company policies and provide exceptional customer service
  • Perform on-call duties and occasional overtime
