About The Position
Crothall Healthcare is hiring a Maintenance Technician at THR Dallas Presbyterian Hospital. The role performs a variety of maintenance duties and is scheduled for the first shift, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The technician maintains and troubleshoots building systems and equipment, carries out inspections and preventive maintenance, and coordinates specialized work with vendors and contractors.
Requirements
- A driver's license and clean driving record are required.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to follow up on maintenance tasks.
- Experience with Building Automation Systems.
Nice To Haves
- 3–5 years of related experience as a maintenance worker or technician is preferred.
- Experience with computerized work order systems is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot equipment; replace plumbing fixtures; rod drains and pipes; identify and stop leaks; and rebuild flush valves.
- Monitor and adjust the building automation system to support patient and staff comfort.
- Test and inspect generators; replace light fixtures and bulbs and ceiling tiles; and respond to general building issues.
- Use drawings, wiring diagrams, and operations and maintenance manuals to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair systems.
- Coordinate specialized work with vendors and contractors.
- Perform preventive maintenance on emergency power systems, emergency lighting, ice machines and refrigerators, HVAC equipment, and other assigned building systems.
- Conduct building and mechanical room inspections in accordance with the maintenance program.
