About The Position

PLZ is seeking a Maintenance Technician for its food plant. The role performs and documents preventive maintenance and repairs through a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), diagnoses and resolves issues with critical production equipment, and supports general facility upkeep. The technician must be flexible in responding to urgent maintenance needs, contribute to continuous improvement, and perform other duties as assigned. The role calls for strong mechanical aptitude, good communication skills, and a proactive approach to maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.

The schedule is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 5:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Execute and document preventative maintenance (PMs) and repairs through a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Diagnose and resolve issues with pumps, air compressors, boilers, heat exchangers, and agitators.
• Support facility upkeep, including lighting, plumbing, HVAC systems, and structural maintenance.
• Respond flexibly to urgent maintenance needs.
• Support continuous improvement efforts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.
