About The Position

PLZ is seeking a Maintenance Technician for its food plant. The role executes and documents preventive maintenance and repairs using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), diagnoses and resolves problems with critical equipment, and supports general facility upkeep. The position requires flexibility to respond to urgent maintenance needs and support continuous improvement while maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work environment. The scheduled shift is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 5:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Requirements

• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute and document preventive maintenance (PMs) and repairs through a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Diagnose and resolve issues with critical equipment, including pumps, air compressors, boilers, heat exchangers, and agitators.
• Support facility upkeep, including lighting, plumbing, HVAC systems, and structural maintenance.
• Respond flexibly to urgent maintenance needs.
• Support continuous improvement efforts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.
