About The Position

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for completing or coordinating repairs across all five facilities and delivering maintenance-related support and communication to both internal and external stakeholders. This role ensures operation and functionality of the Company’s facilities, machinery, and equipment through routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and timely completion of repairs. The Maintenance Technician will maintain accurate electronic records using internal maintenance tracking software.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5-7 years building maintenance experience
  • A general knowledge of: computer literacy to include Microsoft Suite
  • A comprehensive knowledge of: electrical, mechanical, and carpentry
  • Skills: Strong verbal and written communication
  • Skills: Strong organization, prioritization, and problem-solving
  • Skills: Time management
  • Skills: Constructive attitude when assisting others
  • Skills: Highly adaptable to changing priorities
  • Able to: follow instruction with careful attention to detail

  • Able to: stoop, kneel, and crawl
  • Able to: move items up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and perform regular maintenance checks on all manufacturing equipment.
  • Ensure all maintenance department tasks are completed in their entirety.
  • Participate in regular upkeep throughout facilities, both indoor and outdoor.
  • Perform tasks related to preventative maintenance (PM), work orders (WO), work requests (WR), etc.
  • Maintain accurate recordkeeping of PM’s, WO’s, WR’s, assets, vendors, and parts.
  • Perform minor plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs.
  • Maintain spare parts inventory and reorder stock and other supplies.
  • Conduct facility inspections (roof, grounds, interior spaces).
  • Help move equipment or materials as needed.
  • Document machine downtime and root-cause notes.
  • Provide support to facility projects, renovations, or expansions.
