About The Position

This is a skilled trade position responsible for safely and efficiently maintaining, repairing, and installing all machinery in the plant. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of state-of-the-art lithographic printing machinery, die cutters and folder/gluers.

Requirements

• Look up parts and work with OEMs
• Read mechanical and electrical schematics
• Use the computer to process work notifications (SAP)
• Qualify to operate a forklift, aerial boom lift and scissor lift
• Work on platforms approximately 15 feet above the ground level
• Participate in technical training on or off site
• Strong electrical engineering background

Responsibilities

• Prevent/minimize machine downtime through use of Preventive and Predictive Maintenance programs
• Basic welding and mechanical repairs
• Basic electrical circuits & installation
• General building maintenance
• Basic prints, e.g., assembly drawings, parts drawings
• Power transmission
• Basic machine shop work
• Overtime as needed
