About The Position

Lakeside Towers, a senior apartment community with 115 units, is seeking Maintenance Technicians. The team of property management professionals at this location is described as unmatched in the area. The role involves sharing in the vision to advance better living and care for seniors. This is a full-time position, requiring 40 hours per week. An on-call requirement means availability for duties 24/7, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to respond to maintenance emergencies as needed. A $60/month mobile phone allowance is provided.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-2 years of residential or apartment maintenance experience required
  • Skilled in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs
  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
  • Valid driver's license required

Nice To Haves

  • Technical/vocational training preferred
  • Relevant certifications (HVAC, OSHA, etc.) a plus

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building systems.
  • Diagnose and repair maintenance issues in a timely manner.
  • Maintain interior and exterior common areas, ensuring safety and cleanliness.
  • Complete minor carpentry, painting, appliance, and general repairs.
  • Supervise and mentor junior maintenance staff, when applicable.
  • Manage inventory and submit maintenance records and reports.
  • Comply with all safety regulations and building codes.
