As a Maintenance Technician, you will be instrumental in fixing things, solving problems, and ensuring all property systems are in top working order, thereby making a significant impact on residents' lives.

Requirements

  • You have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • You have hands-on experience in maintenance, with skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs.
  • You’re a team player who communicates effectively and works well with others.
  • You’re detail-oriented and take pride in delivering high-quality work.
  • You’re proactive and enjoy solving problems with practical solutions.
  • You’re dependable and flexible, ready to handle after-hours or weekend emergencies when needed.

Nice To Haves

  • HVAC/EPA certifications or similar credentials are a plus
  • Willingness to learn and grow

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks, ensuring all property systems and equipment are in excellent working condition.
  • Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other systems as needed.
  • Address and resolve resident maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
  • Conduct property inspections to identify and address maintenance needs proactively.
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager to prioritize and complete work orders efficiently.
  • Ensure the property meets safety standards and complies with applicable regulations.
  • Maintain an organized inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies.
  • Assist with apartment turnovers, ensuring units are move-in ready for new residents.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance issues, including after-hours calls when necessary.
  • Perform snow and ice removal.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies.
  • Weekend work is required as needed.
  • Physical tasks are required, along with other duties as assigned.
