Requirements

Residential maintenance experience preferred, 2+ years ideal
Ability to work on the weekends and provide on-call support on a rotating basis
Construction, general contractor, handyman, or general maintenance experience
Independently able to plan, organize, and follow through on work
Have an "eye for excellence" / detail-oriented
Valid California driver's license is required as driving is an essential job function, and no comparable alternative transportation options (e.g., ride-hailing, carpooling, bicycling, walking) can reasonably fulfill the role within travel time or cost

Responsibilities

Executes 3-6 day turns (basic repairs, plumbing, electric, painting, etc.) in a quality and timely manner.
Completes service requests and general maintenance to include but not limited to responding, diagnosing, requesting parts, and establishing a timeframe for completion within 24 hours.
Maintains daily awareness of the condition of the property and proactively reports physical maintenance problems, safety hazards, potential liability issues, and resident violations to the Maintenance Manager or Community Director.
