About The Position

The Maintenance Technician will assist the Facility Manager in the delivery of services to operate and maintain the facility including customer/client services, facility maintenance, and supplier management. Develop client relationships with key representatives in supporting client’s corporate goals and objectives. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • 2+ years’ related work - hands on experience in facilities.
  • Experience in the use of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (Maximo Preferred)
  • Excellent inter-personal skills, organization skills, and strong analytical ability
  • Excellent communication skills – oral and written
  • Excellent PC skills: proficiency in all MS applications

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in working in a regulated environment.
  • Building Environmental Systems (BAS) Operator Class I or Class II
  • Experience in Building Maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Performance of ongoing preventive and repair response work orders on facility mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and other installed systems, equipment, and other components.
  • Execute daily building inspections to ensure proper operation of building startups.
  • Maintenance of the equipment will include cleaning, inspecting, and changing parts to maintain the building systems and associated equipment at optimum performance levels.
  • Respond promptly to alarms and notifications, taking appropriate action to resolve issues.
  • Be flexible to respond to break-in requests that might impact scheduled work.
  • Perform assigned facility inspections and due diligence efforts, reporting on as found conditions impacting satisfactory client occupancy and operations.
  • Assist the operations team in the maintenance and repair of building and equipment and/or as directed.
  • Ensure client satisfaction with clients at all levels in the organization; demonstrate leadership, responsiveness, and creativity.
  • Meet with all standard operating procedures, codes and regulations.
  • Ensure areas and processes are in optimum conditions for audit readiness and compliance.
  • Must be available 24/7 to respond to building emergencies or to respond to work being performed by contractors after hours.
  • Perform additional job duties as requested by the Facility Manager.
  • Maintain client satisfaction with delivery of Facility Management services and support programs to increase customer satisfaction.
  • Work together, led by example, be a team player and collaborate with other facilities managers, chief engineers and co-workers.
  • Support compliance with Jones Lang LaSalle minimum audit and compliance standards in facility management, financial management and operational policies and procedures.
  • Meet or exceed site Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s); monitor Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) monthly to identify potential challenges and plan corrective actions accordingly.
  • Enforce all Company policies and training requirements regarding safe and efficient operations and work practices.
