About The Position

This role assists and supports the team lead in the maintenance, preventive maintenance, and grounds keeping of a multi-unit, dual-site facility. The technician will be responsible for prioritizing and conducting assigned maintenance work, utilizing necessary resources, materials, tools, and equipment. They will also conduct inspections to ensure adherence to standards, promote safety and environmental requirements, and apply safe working practices. Basic troubleshooting and additional assigned duties are also part of the role.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Technical degree or AS in technology studies.
  • Desire to work as a part of a team.
  • Previous Mechanical, HVAC, Carpentry, Electric, and Construction equipment and tool experience preferred.
  • Able to sit, stand, walk, carry 50-75lbs, while working minimally a 8-hour shift.
  • Must have tolerance to heat and cold, all weather conditions, noise, and able to perform duties under high stress situations.

  • Will train some attributes for candidates with some experience.

Responsibilities

  • Prioritize and conduct assigned project/scheduled and/or preventive and/or reactive based maintenance work.
  • Conduct assigned work utilizing the pertinent resources, materials, tools, and machinery/equipment required.
  • Conduct inspection of resources, materials, tools, and machinery/equipment as well as post job/activity inspections to ensure adherence to specified standards and quality.
  • Adhere to and promote team timelines according to project plans and team goals.
  • Adhere to and promote the application of Safety, Health, and Environmental requirements.
  • Adherence and promotion of the principles of safe working practices regarding machinery/equipment, tools, and materials.
  • Conduct basic troubleshooting techniques and procedures.
  • Relevant and additional identified duties required as assigned and/or scheduled.
