About The Position

We’re seeking a Maintenance Technician responsible for ensuring our rental units are turned over in a timely manner and to the highest quality standards to join our Caliber Property Management Team. This role includes performing routine maintenance tasks, property checks and preventative maintenance in a professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Preparing units for new residents which includes completing repairs, painting, and ensuring all units meet company standards before move-ins.
• Diagnosing and repairing problems with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall and other rental unit related items.
• Installing fixtures and appliances (lifting up to 70lbs).
• Maintaining the exterior of the building, including picking up trash and debris.
• Cleaning and maintaining common areas and lobbies.
• Inspecting vacant units and identifying repairs or replacements needed.
• Performing general maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, drywall and appliance repair.
• Helping with work orders as needed.
• Performing up to full paint of a unit.
• Ensuring make ready units meet deadlines and quality standards by conducting final walkthroughs.
• Maintaining accurate records of work completed in property management software and communicating progress and issues with maintenance leaders.
• Assisting with preventive maintenance tasks.
• Being on an on-call rotation to respond to emergency issues (once every 10 weeks).
• Maintaining fire, carbon monoxide, smoke systems and inspection checks.
• Ensuring that the properties are safe, clean and habitual at all times.
