The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing scheduled preventive maintenance, corrective or reactive maintenance when a line is down, and assisting with machine changeovers to accommodate the production schedule. This role also involves adjusting machines to maintain productivity, leading continuous improvement projects, and training new employees on machinery operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance. The technician will maintain the organization of spare parts, maintenance workbenches, and tool carts, and support the safety committee to ensure compliance with guidelines and regulations, with a focus on machine safety and proper operation. Additionally, the role assists with production startup and shutdown procedures, completes necessary documentation for maintenance activities and waste disposal, and supports facilities maintenance as needed, all while upholding the company's Core Values and Purpose.
