About The Position

Edgehill, a luxury retirement community, is seeking a Maintenance Technician experienced in HVAC, electrical, and/or plumbing. This role involves performing both minor and major repairs, implementing regular and preventive maintenance programs to ensure resident and staff well-being and aesthetic appeal. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a luxury, five-star building environment and is eager to tackle new and interesting projects daily.

Requirements

Good building maintenance experience.
Familiarity with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC repairs.
High School Graduate or equivalent.
2-3 Years or More Experience of facilities and/or building maintenance, mechanical/electrical/plumbing/HVAC installation, maintenance and/or repair.
Loves to work with seniors.
Excellent customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

HVAC/Electrical/Plumbing certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform repairs (both minor and major).
Implement regular and preventive maintenance programs.
Perform routine maintenance throughout the community.
Demonstrate excellent trouble-shooting skills.
Think outside the box to figure out a solution.
Work with the electronic work order system (PM Worx).
Provide excellent customer service to residents, families and everyone in the community.
Participate in the "On-Call Technician" program which may include working beyond office hours, weekends and holidays.
