About The Position

Dal-Tile is seeking a Maintenance Technician to operate and perform electrical and mechanical duties on machines and equipment used in tile production. The role diagnoses equipment problems, performs repairs and adjustments, completes electrical, welding, and plumbing work, and conducts scheduled preventative maintenance. The technician reports equipment status and problem areas to a supervisor, follows ISO operating procedures, and maintains a safe, clean, and organized work area.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of electrical code.
• At least one year of industrial maintenance experience.
• Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office.
• Routinely work at a height requiring fall protection.

Nice To Haves

• Formal PLC training.

Responsibilities

• Examine machines and equipment to diagnose the source of trouble.
• Dismantle machines and perform repairs.
• Adjust machines and equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Perform electrical repairs and installations.
• Perform welding and plumbing repairs.
• Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance procedures.
• Inform the supervisor of equipment operational status and problem areas.
• Follow ISO operating procedures.
• Keep the work area safe, clean, and organized.
• Perform other related duties as required.
