Maintenance Technician - 12 Hr Day Shift

About The Position

As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll work with the Maintenance team to complete building repairs, equipment installation, troubleshooting and installation, fulfillment of assigned work orders and unforeseen repairs in a timely fashion. You’ll follow good manufacturing practices to maintain inventory, preventative maintenance, and good housekeeping and ensure compliance with all safety and environmental laws and regulations. Important areas of operations you’ll work on (but are not limited to): Clean and lubricate shafts, bearing, gears, and other parts of machinery Install and maintain pipe systems, hydraulic steam, pneumatic equipment Repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, pumps, mechanical seals and other related equipment Building maintenance including minor plumbing, welding, and general upkeep

Requirements

  • Possess and demonstrate basic technical knowledge of some or all of the following: Stainless Steel Welding/Fabrication, Piping systems, Process equipment, Personal Computing.
  • 2-5 years' experience in manufacturing within a maintenance related position preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification of Vocational School, Journeyman card in Millwright or Maintenance Technician preferred.
  • PLC’s (Programmable logic controllers) – a plus
