About The Position

Weinstein Properties is hiring an EPA-certified Maintenance Technician for Springfield Apartments in Henrico, Richmond, Virginia. This is a stable, long-term opportunity at a well-maintained community. The technician completes apartment maintenance and repairs, assists with apartment turns and make-readies, and helps maintain the community’s grounds, amenities, and pool areas. The role works collaboratively with the maintenance team and participates in a rotating emergency on-call schedule. Requirements

At least 3 years of apartment or residential maintenance experience.
EPA Certification (Type II or Universal).
Hands-on HVAC troubleshooting and repair experience.
Strong customer service mindset and pride in your work.
Ability to work independently while being a reliable team player.
Comfort working in a fast-paced environment and prioritizing tasks.
Reliable transportation.
Comfort using computers and mobile devices, including Outlook and work order systems.
Ability to drive a golf cart.
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work indoors and outdoors year-round.
Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
Experience using hand and power tools.
Background check required.

Responsibilities

Complete work orders in occupied and vacant apartments.
Assist with apartment turns and make-readies.
Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, and carpentry items.
Help maintain the appearance of the community, including grounds, amenities, and pool areas.
Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to keep the property running smoothly.
Participate in a rotating emergency on-call schedule.
