About The Position
Planet Fitness is looking for a skilled and dependable Facilities Maintenance Technician to service its clubs around the greater Raleigh, NC area. Requirements
- Basic knowledge about electrical, plumbing, and other systems.
- Proficiency with tools as well as common appliances and devices.
- Ability to lift items weighing 75 pounds.
- Strong communication skills.
- Must be on call for maintenance emergencies, including nights, early mornings, and weekends.
- Valid driver's license.
Responsibilities
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing fitness equipment independently while abiding by safety regulations.
- Upkeep of painting, landscaping, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing for all locations.
- Inspection of alarm systems.
- Partnering with other companies to schedule maintenance as needed.
- Being on call for maintenance emergencies.
- Travel will be necessary, requiring a valid driver's license.
- Maintaining excellent condition of company vehicle.
